Maddy

Maddy is a board-certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner who grew up in nearby San Antonio. She attended the University of Richmond, where she received her Bachelor of Science in Biology. Recognizing her calling in nursing, Maddy returned to school at Vanderbilt University, where she trained to become a registered nurse, and later on, a pediatric nurse practitioner. Fun fact: Maddy actually trained under fellow Modern Pediatrics' very own Brandi Torres!

Maddy was born in Mexico City, and enjoys returning to visit her grandparents and many cousins. As a hispanic-american, Maddy is very passionate about providing equitable and culturally competent healthcare.

Maddy strives to create positive healthcare experiences for children and their families. She looks forward to meeting the families of Modern Pediatrics, and contributing to the optimal health and development of happy, curious, and playful children!
