Kara

Kara is a board certified Nurse Practitioner with extensive experience in pediatrics. She received her Bachelor and Master of Science in Nursing at the University of Texas at Austin and completed additional nurse practitioner training at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center.

Kara’s pediatric experience ranges from hospital to private practice. She is passionate about educating patients and families. She is also passionate about teaching in her position as a Site Coordinator and Instructor for the Accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing program through Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center here in the Austin area.

Kara lives in the country with her husband, Mark, and her two girls, Mia and Kayla. In her free time, she enjoys watching her younger daughter play volleyball, and spending time at the beach with her family.
