Julie

Julie is a board certified Nurse Practitioner. She is a born and bred Texan from Houston with experience in both neonatal and pediatric care. She earned her Bachelors from the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston and her Masters at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston.

Julie began her career as a registered nurse working in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (Level IV) at Texas Children’s Hospital in Houston caring for premature and critically ill babies. She continued to work in the NICU while completing her Master’s Program, motivated by her desire to care for the most vulnerable and resilient patients in the hospital. After obtaining her Master’s, she worked in a Pediatric clinic as a Nurse Practitioner.

Julie lives in South Austin and spends her free time biking, paddle boarding, and traveling.  She loves spending time with family and friends, exploring new restaurants in the Austin area, and most of all, hosting dinner parties.
