Courtney is a board certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner born and raised in San Diego. She was educated in Psychology at UCLA and trained as a nurse in New York City, earning both her Bachelor and Master of Science in Nursing at Columbia University. During her time in New York she worked as an RN in a primary care practice administering vaccines, performing phlebotomy and providing patient education, and taught other graduate students in pathophysiology and pharmacology as a teaching assistant.
Courtney has been in private practice since 2017 working with a range of patients and families and training the next generation of NP students. Her lifetime love of utilizing food and lifestyle changes as medicine is culminating in a specialized certification in functional medicine through the Institute of Functional Medicine and she is excited to approach evidence-based care in chronic and recurring diseases with this new lens.
Courtney lives in the Bouldin Creek community of Austin with her husband and corgi, Hank. She loves running, cycling, cooking, reading and spending time with friends and family.
