Amy

Amy is a board-certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner who was born and raised in Houston and moved to Austin in 2020.  She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at University of Mary Hardin-Baylor and her Master’s in Pediatric Primary Care at Houston Baptist University.

Amy has worked as an RN in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at St. David’s Medical Center where she aided in the highest level of care for critically sick newborns and premature infants. During this time Amy provided patient and family centered care which is where her passion for patient advocacy started.

Amy is excited to bring her knowledge and love for new families and children to Modern Pediatrics. Amy lives in North Austin with her husband, Cody and dog, June. She enjoys being outdoors, reading, and anything adventurous. She spends her time with friends in the area listening to good music and enjoying the best food Austin has to offer.
